On Medium, many articles tackle the complex issues of race. Some negate the actual experiences of Black individuals based on their own perceptions. It’s necessary to add my voice to this dialogue and highlight how such denial exacerbates the oppression of those affected. Ignoring the impact of these systemic issues only perpetuates the problem, and it’s time to bring awareness to the harm this obliviousness causes.
