Bath & Body Works ‘Snowed In’ Candle Controversy
The cover photo isn’t the ‘Snowed In’ candle from Bath & Body Works. Nonetheless, you can check out the candle design for yourself.
I’ve shared my thoughts on the matter, and many in the comments reacted strongly and overlooked my point, presumably because I mentioned that they are part of the issue for not understanding the outrage.
They should be aware of how others may perceive their designs. If you can’t see why people take issue with the design, you’re part of the issue.
Here are some responses to my post:
“…and if you are incapable of seeing the difference in a snowflake and something that isn’t there to start with then you may have a problem as well as be the problem smh.”
“…I’m not saying someone shouldn’t have caught this but by your statement you obviously think that you should never be offended which is gonna really make your life hard.”
Regarding the second comment, there appeared to be some understanding, despite their assumption.
I chose not to reply to everyone who disagreed, instead making an additional comment.
