Birthday Reflections—2025
March has been a busy month for me, not only because it’s my birthday month but also because it’s my personal year 1. The year of new beginnings!
With many days still ahead in March, this week-long break has been the longest I’ve taken from writing. I hope to keep writing consistently throughout the month, but that will depend on the engagement of my readers.
My word for the year is “surrender,” so I’m trying not to force anything, even writing just for the sake of consistency.
My first reflection is to choose a word or mantra for the year that you want to embody; it can even be a word that you do embody but want to be more deliberate with.
I will now formally share the reflections I had on and after my birthday, in no particular order.
