Have you heard of Blogmas?
Blogmas is made of two words, ‘blog’ and ‘Christmas,’ a challenge where bloggers post daily until Christmas. It’s a commitment to share content throughout December, similar to Vlogmas, where creators vlog instead of blog. While it’s a demanding task, not all posts or vlogs need to be Christmas-themed, though the holiday spirit often shines through.
Last December, my blogs reflected on the month’s significance and the festive season, but I didn’t participate in Blogmas.
I’ve been writing consistently since the start of December, but as I mentioned in my recent piece, “Change of Pace in December 2024,” I’m shifting my approach. Now I’ll write when I feel inspired, rather than trying to keep up a streak.
For those who’ve kept up with daily blogging since the start of December, Blogmas could be a fun way to engage your audience and build anticipation for Christmas.
For next year, you could plan Christmas-themed stories for Blogmas, but there’s no reason not to start now.
