September holds significant meaning for me as it marks a time of transition. As the daylight hours change dramatically, life tends to slow down, with more time spent indoors.

This slowing down resonates with me, as I look forward to the holiday season and the close of the year.

September appears to be a reminder to finish the year with slow, steady, and deliberate steps.

“Life is a marathon, not a sprint.”

In September, I often embark on new endeavors. Recently, I joined ‘The Sisterhood Book Club’ on Facebook, where I’ve been getting to know the members. Our current read is Lisa Wingate’s “The Prayer Box,” which I received just last night, prompting me to formally introduce myself to the members; I’ve actively engaged with members who have shared about themselves.

‘The SisterHood Book Club’ has over 100 members, a large number to engage with, though I suspect not all will frequently post.

In my introduction last night, I shared that I am an indie author and blogger. Some members expressed their struggles with putting even simple thoughts on paper. I believe everyone has a unique story worth sharing; just some
