First and foremost, I write throughout the week, allowing the weekend to decide if I should continue.

Taking breaks is crucial when writing consistently, as I have for the past two years (I often return with fresh and exciting ideas for my writing).

Recently, I’ve noticed a dip in my passion for writing. It’s important for me to maintain honesty in my writing, especially since I know something insightful will come out of it.

There are times when discipline alone drives our actions, even without the spark of enthusiasm.

Since I stopped writing for publications that have changed the way they operate, I have felt like I am on the outskirts of Medium. This is the best way I can describe this lingering feeling. I cannot in good conscious write without acknowledging this, particularly because it may influence the frequency of my writing and my interactions.

Nonetheless, I’m eternally grateful for those who read and engage with my stories thoughtfully. I have realized it’s not engagement that fuels me; it’s organic engagement that fuels me!
