“Creature Comforts”
“Leisure will always be found by persons who know how to employ their time; those who want time are the people who do nothing.” — Madame Roland
We can sometimes take creature comforts for granted until we find ourselves in a position where we miss certain things from our home. A homemade meal, your favorite pillow, and even cable TV are just a few of the luxuries we can enjoy.
What creature comforts are you most thankful for and why?
First and foremost, creature comforts are those things that contribute to a pleasant life. The creature comfort I am most thankful for is my internet connection; without it, I wouldn’t be able to connect with all of you here. Another creature comfort is my car; I feel at peace whether I’m driving to my destination or simply parked, contemplating life, eating, reading, and yes, staying connected with all of you. This brings me to yet another creature comfort: my phone, a constant source of entertainment throughout my day.
