My light shines the brightest
Because I have gone through
Some of
The Darkest Nights
Of my life
And alone at that
People like moths are
Attracted to the light
But
It can become
Too much for them
If they are not accustomed to
A light like mine
It cannot be dimmed
Despite
Many attempts
Because it comes from
Within
Taking the Darkest Nights
And transmuting them into
Greater Days ahead
