Dear Medium:
I would like for my writing experience to be a breeze on this platform and I know that’s the goal for YOU too!
I went from writing on my phone’s desktop site to the app — I’ve come into issues when writing on the app. I find myself alternating from the app to my phone’s desktop site because of these issues, thus requiring more time and effort than necessary on a story.
I have a few suggestions in mind for YOU to improve the writing experience on the app:
- Have an option for writers to preview their story before ‘publishing’ it.
- Have a few layout modes to choose from for different types of writing.
- Make Unsplash photo credits ‘clickable’ (I’ve noticed that this is only possible on the site).
Overall, make features possible on the app that are only possible on the site.
These are just a few suggestions that would improve the writing experience on the app. The preview suggestion will do wonders for writers that write on their phones.
