Dear Readers (Writers),
Your engagement is fuel for me to continue writing.
Writers want to know that their words resonate with others.
Writers want to improve their craft.
Are you a writer as well?
Engagement is feedback, and I suppose no feedback is feedback, too.
I wrote monthly recaps in the Medium Partner Program to hold myself accountable to write consistently and give someone a glimpse into the experience of one writer out of “millions” of other writers on Medium.
I am in the vast majority of Medium writers who earn under $100 a month.
I rely on my intuition and engagement to fuel my writing on Medium because I do not know my readers interests unless they share their interests with me, which a few readers (and writers) have, and I am grateful for that.
I suspect that most of my readers are not my followers (and may not even be Medium users).
