This Christmas movie fully captured me and reminded me of the movie “Jack Frost” because the snowman comes to life and shares the name Jack.
“Two years after losing her husband, Kathy (Lacey Chabert) magically brings a handsome snowman (Dustin Milligan) to life! Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Kathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays… and before he melts.”
Compared to Netflix’s “Meet Me Next Christmas,” which I really like, this movie stands out for its ability to conjure that special Christmas magic, even in the context of a romantic comedy.
Its innocent appeal is a key part of its allure.
The movie masterfully weaves humor and grief, resulting in excellent character development and emotional impact for viewers.
At the time of writing this, it’s ranked #5 in Movies Today on Netflix.
