Photo of the author as a child.

As a young child, I enjoyed creating new worlds with my vivid imagination.

When I was alone, I gravitated towards writing about and illustrating these new worlds.

Early on in life, I learned that I wasn’t the only writer in the family.

As a child, I was always intrigued by the typewriter that was set on display in my grandma’s home.

As I got older, my love for writing grew fonder.

I often wrote poems, song lyrics, and short stories in notebooks and diaries.

Writing has always been my safe space to connect with my feelings and transmute them into works of art.

I’ve always imagined myself writing a book, and I would go on to author a collection of poems.

Technology has changed how I write. I’m sharing my writing with the world. I write what I’m divinely guided to write. I’m not limited when it comes to writing—I'm intrigued by all aspects of writing.

Special thanks to

for taking me down memory lane—where my love for writing began.
