It appears to me that a great number have been adversely affected. Over the past few days, I've observed a decline in engagement for my recent pieces and those of other writers. It appears that they are unable to manage the flood of new writers. In any case, Medium needs to work out these issues. Some might not experience the effects right now, but may later. Maybe it's time to revert back to the original membership.
