January 2025: Medium Changes & Earnings Report
Entering January 2025, I was optimistic that I would surpass my highest-earning months in 2024. However, Medium had different plans for me and many others, to the extent that a Medium staff member finally acknowledged what many of us had been experiencing for several months.
I am writing this post on the last day of January, and my earnings have not been finalized yet. However, I do not expect them to drastically increase, if at all.
A few of my stories that were read by members have not earned anything (I am unsure why they even populated my earnings list).
The last update addressing issues with the Medium Partner Program was on January 13th. It would have been appreciated if Medium had been transparent about their efforts to resolve the issue, acknowledging that it had not yet been resolved, and assuring us…
