This blog post will discuss my recent trip to Starbucks, where I tried their Iced PSL and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin for the first time of the season. While the PSL is a popular choice, I have a preference for iced beverages.

It seems the Starbucks iced version has gained popularity, possibly because it’s photo-worthy.

Our signature espresso and milk — with the celebrated flavor combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove — served over ice. Enjoy it topped with whipped cream and real pumpkin-pie spices.

The popularity of PSL is a genuine love/hate relationship, indicating that not all coffee shops make them in the same way. It could make all the difference to whether you enjoy this seasonal beverage or not.

I understand that not everyone likes pumpkin spice. If that’s the case, I can understand why you choose to avoid PSL.

My first impression of Starbucks Iced PSL was good but nothing special. The recipe seemed to have changed the next year, though, and I no longer found it to be appealing.
