Medium is an outlet for us to write, read, and connect. Therefore, we can learn a lot about each other in such a short time. In other words, there’s potential for exploitation to occur. Again, Medium is an outlet. How much you share is dependent on YOU, or is it?
First and foremost, the title may be a bit misleading, but it’s designed in a way to get YOU to think about your own thinking (metacognition).
My Purpose on Medium Is Twofold:
A. For both personal and professional development or growth.
B. To be a catalyst for one’s spiritual growth.
NOW, that YOU may have either thought about the potential for exploitation or your purpose on Medium, let's examine the title:
If my title is written in this way, it’s more than likely a thought piece—a statement with a ? at the end.
I’m not implying that Medium is synonymous with exploitation; I’m implying that it has the potential for exploitation to occur because it’s not only an open platform, but it curates or incentivizes certain writing content.
