Medium Writers Deserve Transparency
First and foremost, I wanted to start February on a positive note, despite the current events and the state of this platform, so I acknowledged the significance of Black History Month. Therefore, I shared updates that I noticed in the Partner Program and my earnings report on the last day of January. As expected, my earnings did not increase drastically the following day; in fact, they only increased by 35 cents. Overall, it was clear that issues with fraudulent activity were still unresolved, despite new features added to the platform.
I earned approximately 7 dollars in profit for the month of January, which does not accurately reflect the value I contribute to this platform. I am not new to writing on this platform, and I consistently adapt to the changes made here.
Medium appealed to me because of the potential to earn money, even though I love sharing my wisdom and insights with the collective, and I have yet to receive what I invest, which is discouraging. This brings me to another topic: Medium claps.
