My Story Was Rejected

We often share our successes, but how often do we share our failures?

If I’m going to share my writing journey with you all, I need to share it all:

Embrace failure because you have tried — A prerequisite to success.

How do I feel about my story rejection?

I’m not thrilled, but I’m okay. Having feedback would’ve been helpful, so I know what I could’ve done differently. However, it made me think of how writing can be viewed as mostly subjective.

Now that I’m writing about my story rejection (not my first rodeo) — It’s teaching me a lot about myself and my writing self.

Everyone will approach failure differently, but it’s wise to let failure teach and motivate you. If possible, ask for feedback. Lastly, Fail Forward.
