My Word For 2025
As 2025 quickly approaches, a word to embody for the new year comes to mind. It was chosen by a Medium writer for one year, and also by someone I connected with on Instagram for 2024.

When I began writing here, I focused on my writer’s identity. If you are new to the platform and uncertain of your niche, I recommend experimenting with your writing while developing your voice.
At first, I believed I was an experimental writer. But it turns out I’m an intuitive writer, someone who writes without expectations, writing what I feel compelled to in the moment for the collective’s betterment.

My word for 2025 is surrender, taking a humble position and embracing what is over how you would have it.
