Preparing for New Beginnings
As October draws to a close, I look forward to Halloween and my bookiversary, despite the deep realization that I need to reassess several aspects in my life, including Medium.
Numerology influences everything I do, including writing.
Numerology is the study of occult numbers and their meanings in our lives.
I have been writing consistently for the past two years, despite having been on Medium for longer. Even with the platform’s changes and the occasional technological glitches, I remain dedicated to engaging with the community and improving my craft.
For a long time, I felt disconnected from the Medium community. The publications for which I previously wrote for have changed. Writers I used to read are no longer writing consistently, and I cannot help but believe this is due to changes made to the Medium Partner Program.
I still have people who follow me, but the majority of them have never engaged with my writing, making it difficult to discern if they resonate with it.
Despite my best attempts to stay relevant, engage with the community, and provide insightful content, I am not receiving enough engagement to even look at my metrics to determine what I should write less or more of.
