Society Isn’t Designed For Self-Care was a title idea in my dream, but after some long introspection, I’ve decided against this title. I had realizations that society only promotes self-care when it’s convenient and beneficial to do so for its own personal gain and self-care can become problematic when people don’t have the proper tools to practice it.
This story is intended to provide you with a general understanding of self-care and how to practice it during a time of still so much uncertainty, while shifting our focus on collective care when it fails.
What comes to mind when thinking of self-care? Take a moment to either write down your thoughts or make mental notes.
