“Spiritual influencers” have taken to social media to share their journeys, potentially shaping the spiritual growth of their followers. Yet, as with any social media presence, some leverage these platforms for audience growth, brand partnerships, and financial benefits.

The pandemic’s onset saw an emergence in such influencers, possibly because it was a time when we all had ample opportunity to reflect. In uncertain times, social media emerged as a new kind of connection.

As an intuitive writer, I am guided by my intuition to share insights, and I wish to offer my perspective on “spiritual influencers,” who often receive backlash.

There were moments when I felt pressured to offer my services for free, which begs the question of why. Money is a tool that can afford us freedom. My time and energy are valuable.

My reflections on “spiritual influencers” were sparked by a video I watched. The person in the video, known to me as a television personality and not as an IG model as the commentator suggested, shared her disillusionment upon discovering that her journey did not mirror her authentic self.
